Danielle’s stop-motion films are a combination of miniature toy worlds and fanciful cardboard cities. An experimental filmmaker, utilizing recycled materials in a tactile, hand-made style, Danielle began her career as a video editor, animator and sound designer on cartoon series and commercial spots in NYC for Animation Collective, Scholastic Inc. and the NBA. On the heels of her post-production success, Danielle set up the animation production company, Dashamation Studios, a Brooklyn, NY-based production company, specializing in short-form animated content, VR experiences, and commercials that would grow to produce shorts for Jack Daniel’s, Sesame Street and Mother Goose Club. As animation director on the documentary film “The Girl with the Rivet Gun”, she has created over 100,000,000 animated frames.
